Pokedex – Pokemon Game

Choose a starter Pokemon, then enter battle to defeat and capture pokemon for your Pokedex.

Tools: HTML, CSS, JavaScript, PHP, SQL, AJAX 

• Wrote backend to store the user’s pokemon using PHP and SQL.
• Developed a web application enabling users to battle a CPU in a Pokémon game.
• Implemented backend functionality with PHP and SQL to store player’s Pokémon data.
  Secured the database by implementing measures against SQL injection.
• Utilized JavaScript and AJAX GET requests to retrieve data from the Pokedex API.
• Managed API data and game state through effective DOM manipulation.
